Doggie Showers or Doggie Wash Stations

Pets are our family, so why shouldn’t our homes reflect their needs and wants? Trending for 2019 and beyond is a sort of mudroom for the four footed family members. The possibility of easily cleaning off muddy paws by an ergonomically designed doggie shower that will make a quick spray down after a long walk easy and routine. This is a great way to save your flooring and furniture from residual abuse!

As odd as it might sound, a high platform doggie shower added to a mudroom or laundry room is not that costly and adds to the value of your home. Even if the next homeowner doesn’t have pets, a strategically place wash station can make rinsing off muddy boots or other items a breeze.

While dogs can be bathed in regular baths or showers, sharing a tub with your pet means having to deep clean after every pet shower. Not to mention the safety issue as many wet dogs get hurt trying to escape a soapy, slippery bathtub.

The demand for dog showers is on the rise and according to the New York Times, many major homebuilders are offering a dog shower options in many of their homes. Some builders are even making it standard in home $800,00-and-up homes.
